Mpu Sindok is said to be the last king of the Sanjaya Dynasty , who reigned over Mataram Kingdom in central Java , Indonesia . Sindok died in 947 AD AD

Sindok would have transferred its capital in East Java in 929 , in a place called Watugaluh, river Brantas , near the present town of Jombang , to 7 ° 35 ’42 “S, 112 ° 12′ 50″ E .

Sindok is also the founder of the Isyana dynasty . An inscription kept at the Indian Museum of Calcutta in India , for this reason called ” Calcutta Stone “, and dated 1041 , declines the genealogy of King Airlangga back to Sindok.
