Road Network

In 2002, Indonesia’s road network totaled 368,360 km, of which 213,649 km was paved 1 .

State- owned company Pelni ( Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia ) operates 28 vessels, 25 of which serve a number of routes and destinations in the archipelago, most of them on a monthly or bi-weekly basis.
